A year ago today someone very dear to me passed from this world to the next. His passing was nothing short of a shock and a reminder of how death is envitable and how we can’t escape it and surely we will meet our creator. Maher you may be gone but you will remain in my heart forever until one day we meet again. Your untimely passing shed light on how short this dunya truly is and that every second should not be wasted. That your life can be no more in the blink of an eye and we need to prepare for the bigger picture waiting for us after this life. I thank you for opening my eyes. I pray and make duaa that iA you are resting easily. That Allah SWT has mercy on your soul. That your grave is filled with space and light and that you are granted the highest level of Jannah.
